SHIPMENTS AND TEST RESULTS
Your environmental mold and mycotoxin test kit will be sent by UPS within 24 hours of receipt of payment. Depending on your location, UPS delivery can take 1-6 business days. Once you complete all the steps, you will return your pre-paid kit to RealTime Labs. Test results will be sent by encrypted e-mail, no later than 10 business days after receipt of the sample at our laboratory.

MOLDS TO KNOW
Certain species of mold have been known to cause illness in humans and domestic animals. Using only a small sample of dust, home mold test kits by RealTime Laboratories can detect 15 different mycotoxins produced by the most common types of harmful mold varieties. This includes, but is not limited to:
Aspergillus flavus, which is associated with damage to the liver, lungs, kidneys, and immune system. Long-term exposure to A. flavus and A. parasiticus can lead to cancer, chronic hepatitis, jaundice, or Reye’s system.
Stachybotrys chartarum, known colloquially as “black mold,” which has been linked to acute and chronic respiratory issues—nasal inflammation, excess mucus secretion, and olfactory system damage. It can also disrupt the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and protein, potentially affecting every cell in the body.
Aspergillus fumigatus, which suppresses the body’s ability to fight diseases and other hazards. A. fumigatus infections are potentially deadly to people with compromised immune systems.
Aspergillus parasiticus, which is also associated with damage to the liver, lungs, kidneys, and immune system. Long-term exposure to A. flavus and A. parasiticus can lead to cancer, chronic hepatitis, jaundice, or Reye’s system.
